Central Cars Private Hire will soon be offering an automated Fast Track booking system.
You may register up to three locations with a mobile phone or one location using a landline.
Mobile phone example:
Locations registered with a mobile phone:
Pick Up 1: Home
Pick Up 2: Pub
Pick Up 3: Work
When you telephone Central Cars on 01132 523 523, the system automatically recognises your mobile telephone number and issues the following message:
"If you would like a taxi as soon as possible from one of your registered pick up points then please enter your pick up point number. If you want to speak to an operator then press 0".
You then simply select which pre-registered pick up point you would like collecting from. The system will ask you to confirm your collection point then issue you with a booking reference number which you should quote to the driver to ensure you are in the correct vehicle.
Home phone example:
Home address registered with a landline:

Once registered, when you telephone Central Cars the system will automatically recognise your telephone number and issues the following message:
"If you would like a taxi as soon as possible from (Your Home Address) then please press 1. If you want to speak to an operator then press 0".
When phoning from your home telephone, the system automatically knows where you are and simply asks if you would like a car to the address you are phoning from.
It's as simple as that! The next available vehicle will then be dispatched to you.
To join the service, simply email the Central Cars Fast Track Booking Service the following information:
Mobile Phone Users:

- Pick Up Location 3
Home Phone Users:
- Your name
- Your home telephone number
- Your home address
